This is my favorite building to look at when Im at the Punchline in S.F. Its so happens to be in the financial district. I call it the Eye of Horus because at night the tip of the pyramid structure lights up. When the sun gets directly over it I give a shout out to the Egyptians and pray to the “Comedy Gods” LOL. Its the closest thing to an ancient worship experience I have.
In its most positive sense the structure of the pyramid represents strength and durability while the steps of the pyramid are an allegory for the journey to enlightenment from the wide base, grounded in earth to the unity of the single capstone that sits atop of, and presides over, all the lower levels in an almost god-like manner.
