Old Jaffa

I had the pleasure of spending the Holiday Season in Jaffa Port. Ive been to the Middle East a bunch of times and its always great experience when I go.  Since I stayed on the port, I snapped some shots while I was there. The food is amazing, and the storms created a beautiful land scape. Here are a few shots from the trip. I have more  on my IG page if you are looking for more click on @ByronBowers

This first pic is by director Alma Har’el, I just had to include it.  I didn’t edit any of these photos.

Jaffa Port

So for the last month me and mines spent some time in her home country of Israel.  This time we decided to stay in Jaffa Port where there are great restaurants nearby and we can wake up to the beautiful view and sound of the Mediterranean Sea.  We spent New Years staring at the ocean and it was intimate and beatiful.

Mexico and the Pyramid Player

If my travels were a mushroom trip then Teotihuacan was my breakthrough point. Im in an ancient pyramid learning about the relationship between the Universe and man and it aligns with how I internally and spiritually experience things. The moment when you discover who you are / what you are, the journey of self without ancestry.com. Ancestry can tell you where you are from, DNA wise or who you are DNA wise, but they can fully tell you who you are. How connected you are to EVERYTHING!! Such a great experience to have before you go to a restaurant in a cave and be afraid to drink the water. These stones were man-made and people traveled 80 miles with volcanic stones on their back. Wondered if they drunk the water….. Peep the pics below

On top of Pyramid of the Moon!

Booed up with my partner in crime!

We are about to pig out at the famous La Gruta restaurant!

In a boutique store asking the comedy to bless my Aztec calendar sweater!  Im a fan of cultural appropriation.

Israel the Promise Land

Here are a few pics from my second trip to the Holy Land.  We started in Tel Aviv, then drove down to Mitzpe Ramon to be in the dessert and jump in the crater.  Driving 160km in the dessert coming from the states is a beautiful thing.  From there I drove down to Eilat to snorkel and swim with the dolphins and salt pools of the dolphin reef.   Then I drove up to float in the Dead Sea.  While floating in the Dead Sea, everything became still and I started to wonder how in the f*ck did I get here?  How did some one that grew up in one of the worst cities in Georgia make it to Isreal, or Japan/ London……..Following my instincts is how.  It’s scary but it has taking me around the world and I have met some amazing people.

Beautiful Morning in Tel Aviv before our drive to the desert.

Arriving in Mitzpe Ramon we went to the crater first.

The view from our room at the Beresheet Hotel and Resort overlooking the crater!  That water was cold as f#ck!

Me and my Motek!!

Also there are wild ibex roaming around in Mitzpe Ramon like stray cats.

Look at the knee boots on the ibex!

For my birthday we did a 6 hour ATV tour in the desert so I got a chance to see the WHOLE crater!  It looks like MARS in the crater!

On top of the crater, we were so high you can see a bird go by.

Driving through the Mitzpe Ramon Crater

I got sooooo dust from the drive, look at the dust in my beard.

Koh Somui Villa at the Orchid Hotel in Eilat.  Got a chance to go to the Dolphin Reef and swim with the dolphins and float in the salt pools.  I went snorkeling at 9am at Snuba beach and was able to spend some time with this amazing octopus.  I witnessed it change colors and it was one of the most amazing trippiest sh#t I ever seen!

We made it to the Dead Sea right before sunset.  You can actually see the moon in the sky and for some reason the sky and the water was the same color so when I got inside of the water.  It looked like was was sitting in infinity.  Unbelievable…..so warm, so cold, so amazing.  Another TRIPPY experience.  I got out of the sea and didn’t need to dry off because the water beaded of my body like a fresh polished car.  My skin was oily and glowing.  I was itching on the ride back to Tel Aviv but it was worth it.

I performed a 40min set at the Dancing camel in Tel Aviv my last night in town it was Amazing.
