After we left Pacific Heights we headed to the Golden Gate Bridge. As someone who admires travel, I had to cross and explore this “Wonder of the World.” Its only1.7 miles to the other side. That’s only 40 minutes so we went for it. Keep in mind it is San Francisco so it is cold and the wind is blowing. Luckily I had the sun on my side. From the beginning of this journey to the end, we probably walked 5 miles.

Fort Point was built between 1853 and 1861 by the U.S. Army Engineers as part of a defense system of San Francisco Bay. It never saw battle.
There is no turning back now.
