Kanye West – POWER
This is a great video, the message behind it and the Ancient Egyptian imagery. Directed by artist Marco Brambilla
“In the video Kanye is wearing a chain that has a Horus on the end of it and a Pyramid Ring. Horus was one of the oldest and most powerful deities in Ancient Egypt. He served a number of different purposes, but was most notably the God of the Sky, the God of War and the god of Protection. Horus protected hunters and warriors and gave might to all those who paid tribute to him. It’s a powerful image, and it’s not mystery why West would be attracted to such an intense icon.” Vulture

F*ck what you heard, THIS IS HIP HOP
Whats weird about this to me is that, this MILF is hanging out in the hood doing this shit. LOL. “Its all in a pleat, BOOM BAM. I went to a club right?, and um there had no baggy pants and no sneakers. That was WILD, son.”

KAWS Gallery opening at the Adlrich Contemporary Art Museum in CT
This first solo museum exhibition of the work of Brooklyn-based artist and designer Brian Donnelly, a.k.a. KAWS, includes his most recent paintings, sculptures, and drawings, as well as a survey of his iconic street art, apparel, product and graphic designs.
I became interested in Kaws, after seeing his figures and thinking what the f#ck is this. Then I saw his paintings and decided to find out more about this guy. Thats when I became inspired.
Kanye West’s New Song (Power)

I’m livin’ in the 21st century
Doin’ something mean to it
Do it better than anybody you ever seen do it
Screams from the haters, got a nice ring to it
I guess every superhero need his theme music
No one man should have all that power
The clock’s tickin’, I just count the hours
Stop trippin’, I’m trippin’ off the power
(21st century schizoid man)
The system broken, the schools closed, the prisons open
We ain’t got nothin’ to lose, ma’f-cka, we rollin’
Huh? Ma’f-cka, we rollin’
With some light-skinned girls and some Kelly Rowlands
In this white man’s world, we the ones chosen
So goodnight, cruel world, I see you in the mornin’
Huh? I see you in the mornin’
This is way too much, I need a moment
No one man should have all that power
The clock’s tickin’, I just count the hours
Stop trippin’, I’m trippin’ off the power
‘Til then, f-ck that, the World’s ours
And then they (Go)
And then they
And then they (Go)
And then they (21st century schizoid man)
F-ck SNL and the whole cast
Tell ‘em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass
More specifically, they can kiss my asshole
I’m an asshole? You n-ggas got jokes
You short-minded n-ggas’ thoughts is Napoleon
My furs is Mongolian, my ice brought the goalies in
Now I embody every characteristic of the egotistic
He know, he so, f-ckin’ gifted
I just needed time alone, with my own thoughts
Got treasures in my mind but couldn’t open up my own vault
My childlike creativity, purity and honesty
Is honestly being prodded by these grown thoughts
Reality is catchin’ up with me
Takin’ my inner child, I’m fighting for it, custody
With these responsibilities that they entrusted me
As I look down at my dia-mond-encrusted piece
N-gga, no one man should have all that power
The clock’s tickin’, I just count the hours
Stop trippin’, I’m trippin’ off the power
‘Til then, f-ck that, the World’s ours
And then they (Go)
And then they
And then they (Go)
And then they
And then they (Go)
And then they (21st century schizoid man)
Colin Powells, Austin Powers
Lost in translation with a whole f-ckin’ nation
They say I was the obamanation (abomination) of Obama’s nation
Well, that’s a pretty bad way to start the conversation
At the end of day, goddammit, I’m killin’ this sh-t
I know damn well y’all feelin’ this sh-t
I don’t need yo’ p-ssy, bitch, I’m on my own d-ck
I ain’t gotta power trip, who you goin’ home with?
How ‘Ye doin’? I’m survivin’
I was drinkin’ earlier, now I’m drivin’
Where the bad bitches, huh? Where ya hidin’?
I got the power, make yo’ life so excitin’ (So excitin’)
Now this would be a beautiful death
Jumpin’ out the window
Lettin’ everything go
Lettin’ everything go
N-now-now this would be a beautiful death
Jumpin’ out the window
Lettin’ everything go
Lettin’ everything go
Now this would be a beautiful death
Jumpin’ out the window
Lettin’ everything go
Lettin’ everything go
You got the power to let power go
Metaphors Trapped Behind Bars
This is one of my favorite freestyles to date. Its Jay Z of course, free-styling off of Joe Budden’s “PUMP IT UP” instrumental.
My favorite line of the whole song is
“whos the nicest,
like polite less,
on these mic devices
and I dont write this “
Read this and look at the metaphors trapped behind these bars. The song is at the end.
gimme that beat fool, its a full time jack move
dont worry skano ill give it back soon
just havin a little fun, wassup my nigga?
S dot collection

Aint nobody dumping on Hov
you aint in sanitation or sanitarium

I’ll get you drug out the club they have to carry em
Go head bug out I raid, niggas scared of him
worry I’m not, the Mike Jordan
of the mic recording
its Hovi baby you Kobe maybe, Tracy McGrady
matter fact you Harold Miner, JR Rider
washed up on marijuana
even worse you a Pervis Ellis
you worthless fella
you aint no athlete you Shawn Bradley
I aint talking to nobody in particular
my flow is just vehicular, homicide when Im kicking up dust
anybody in my path
is a car crash waiting to happen, nigga what?
I got my foot on the door
on the post of this rap game and I aint letting up, yep
Whos the nicest, like polite less,on these mic devices
and I dont write this
I just might this,i will it to happen
one take hove I’m real in this rapping
My new name is just the facts
while the rest of yall just adjust the facts
put words together, just to match
I say what I feel, yall adjust to that
I do the opposite of yall so I just attract
the realer audience, usually unjustly black
know my flow and the shit they go through just match
like the sound of my voice and a Choice Just track
I just tackle the subject the flack of the public is nothing
I know real niggas happen to love it
if you don’t like it, look in the mirror
most likely you aint live it, so you don’t get it
you aint did it, so you cant vision
the picture I’m painting aint vivid
the language I’m spitting is so foreign to ya
see was starving will do to ya
growing up hard in a little apartment will do to ya
I’m just talking to ya
I’m just talking through ya
Take a listen to tha real thing. Its bad to have a summer hit aimed at you..
